Throughout her musical development, Sophia has performed in a range of settings, from piano eisteddfods, solo recitals and piano duets to ensembles, bands and musical theatre productions. From 2018 onwards, Sophia competed regularly in eisteddfods across Victoria and New South Wales, including Ballarat, Bendigo, Wollongong, West Gippsland and Cowra, gaining extensive experience in competitive performance and receiving numerous awards. In 2024, she formed the PEGS Senior Piano Trio, which went on to win the 70th Annual Ringwood Eisteddfod and perform at the Gala Concert. She has also performed as a soloist and ensemble musician throughout her high school years, performing with woodwind ensembles, voice, and orchestras, as well as working in pit orchestras for productions including Anastasia and 42nd Street. Sophia was also a Music Leader at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School, where she helped organise performances, music events and fundraisers while encouraging other students to participate in the school’s music community. These experiences have developed her ability to listen, collaborate and adapt to different musical settings as well as different musical genres, allowing her to bring a flexible approach to teaching and support students in exploring the music they enjoy. 

Sophia was selected for the 2025 VCAA Top Class Music Performance program, which recognises outstanding VCE Music performances from across Victoria. She performed as part of the Top Class concert at the Melbourne Recital Centre with her piano duet partner, as well as at the Traralgon Performing Arts Centre for the regional concert. These performances provided Sophia with the opportunity to work alongside talented young musicians and perform in professional concert environments. Having grown up attending concerts at the Melbourne Recital Centre and watching many of her favourite pianists perform there, performing at the venue herself was particularly memorable.
